Strict building renovation standards, timeline, and budget limited architectural interventions in this second office renovation project for HRS. An open work area for 14 staff and an eat-in kitchenette provide a collaborative environment similar to the Dallas office. Three conference rooms are clustered on the western edge to enable views from the workstations into a tranquil urban park to the south. A generally muted palette is contrasted by brightly-colored walls in each conference room to foster a playful graphic identity, and lightly finished oak floors provide material warmth in the space. The exposed ceiling reveals the building's generous floor-to-floor height, and references the area's industrial urban fabric.
