Kerrville House

This house is designed as two identically-sized pavilions, one for sleeping and the other for living. As the two pavilions overlap and slip past one another a compact and efficient layout is created. This plan shift also provides additional privacy between the bedrooms and living area and allows cross ventilation for passive cooling. The space left over becomes a generous porch for each pavilion, clearly delineating mass and void along the facade.
